Sending and Receiving Bitcoin

 This guide will cover addresses, QR codes and how transactions work. Learn how to send your Bitcoin to someone else or receive Bitcoin into your wallet.

Step 1:

You can send Bitcoin by opening your wallet or wherever your Bitcoin is stored, pasting the recipient’s address, or scanning their wallet's QR code.

Step 2:

Enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to send and confirm the transaction.

Step 3:

Mobile apps will be super clear and easy on how to send/receive Bitcoin.

Step 4:

When receiving Bitcoin, you will need to send the other party member your wallets’ address or show them the QR code (if in person).

Step 5:

The sender will confirm the amount of Bitcoin being sent to you and the Bitcoin will transfer to your wallet.

Step 6:

These transactions can take anywhere from 10 minute to 1 hour depending on network traffic. Faster transactions can incur higher fees.
